Artificial Corneas from Fraunhofer Institute

German researchers have developed an artificial cornea enabling easy integration with a patient’s native cornea, and prevent cellular hyperplasia on its plastic surface.  Transplanted corneas maybe a thing of the past.  Read more at medgadget.com
