This prototype machine uses nylon beads to tumble wash clothes saving 90% less water than current washers. Developed by Xeros it uses less detergent and reduce the need for tumble drying. That saves a lot of water in the world. Read more at inhabitat.com and visit xerosltd.com

PC Magazine has a nice breakdown of the new Wacom Intuos 4. I really like the layout of this tablet. Pushing all of the controls to one side makes this guy that much more diverse. And you gotta appreciate the page rotation button!
