Opening July 9th, the Maryhill Double will be constructed in the grasslands of Oregon. Constructed of scaffolding and construction netting, the installation will be a full-scale architectural representation of the Maryhill Museum of Art. The artists are part of the Lead Pencil Studio, located in Seattle.

For some reason, this project (or image) reminds me of the performance space constructed in David Byrne’s “True Stories”. I’m sure it’s just me (and it probably is, because the web has produced no image for me to prove it).
